We Believe
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved..." Acts 16:31a

As a regional conference of the Free Methodist Church, we are part of a larger denominational family that has been carefully and prayerfully cultivating and seeking to carry out its beliefs for over 150 years. More than that, we stand on a firm foundation that traces back through John Wesley, the Protestant Reformation, and the people of God throughout history. We see ourselves as a needed expression of a biblically-grounded faith that originates with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob "in the beginning," culminates in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and anticipates a Spirit-fueled movement leading to God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

The Free Methodist Way
Five values that shape our identity:

Life-Giving Holiness: Paths to Pursuing God's Sanctifying Grace.

Love-Driven Justice: Paths of Biblical and Restorative Justice, Leading to Formation and Action.

Christ-Compelled Multiplication: Following Jesus into Leaving an Eternal and Exponential Impact on Lives, Churches and Communities.

Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Engaging in the Mission of God with any and all People of God.

God-Given Revelation: Living Joyfully Under the Authority of the Living and Active Word of God.

These are the values that bring clarity to our shared sense of identity, aid in the creation of our Free Methodist culture, nurture unity in our diversity, and serve as an important tool in our development of disciples and leaders. This is who we are. This is the Free Methodist Way.
